Video Transcript

Shani Lenard: Director, People Strategy
We make a difference is a critical element to who we are and what we believe Chris. I would love for you to just share a little bit of why this one is so important to you. You’ve talked to me a lot about how you’ve done this and how it’s shown up for you over time and for you and your Associates.

Chris Williams: SET Collections Manager
We’ve talked about this success and results in those things are very important to our organization. I’m very grateful that this organization also sees making a difference equally as important as our success building relationships with Charity Partners building those networks and connections to realize how do we make a difference in the individual communities which we work and serve we’ve created.

Community impact teams that build those relationships and then seek out volunteer opportunities for our Associates not just to make a cash donation, but tangibly make a difference with their hands and their labor and their hours to support the community Through organizations like big brothers and big sisters food banks homeless shelters soup kitchens are all those things that our Associates are willing to do because those things are make a passionate to them and look at how do we make a difference? It’s a part of who we are our DNA and we love to make a difference because making a difference is good business not just for JM Family, but the community our Associates and their families.

Chris Chittero: Organizational Effectiveness Consultant
I think too. It is a reflection of our care we care about our fellow associates… we care about how they’re doing in their life and in their work life, but that care extends to the community as you said and it’s that basic human respect and I like what you said good for business. Yeah. It’s the strong communities build strong economies and a productive educated Workforce. Right and and that that’s certainly helps every individual and every every organization.

Chris Williams: SET Collections Manager
I agree. I think it ties into everything else we’ve talked about Chris talked about the long-term Vision. We’re also in building relationships for our future Workforce, right? And how do we bring them in to continue our kids our grandkids within JM Family?

Ashley Taylor: Sr. Mgr. Analytics & Machine Learning
What I’ve seen we are a relationship company, right and whether it’s us volunteering on the weekends or as teams during work hours. It’s really great relationship building event. And for a lot of Associates, It’s a way of life. This is how they they spend their time outside of work frequently and I’ve heard many stories of Associates who developed relationships through these community events. That they are being exposed to Associates throughout the company that they may otherwise not have met and it’s really building up those relationships participating in something together. That’s much larger than just us ourselves and it really does pay off in the end.

Lynn Laquain: IT Strategy Analyst
Definitely agree with what you’re saying Ashley going back to we are people centered the type of people that we work with and we enjoy working with we’re just nice people most of the folks that would bring it that become part of JM Family and nice is something you can teach but it’s really something you attract and when we bring people into our organization these tend to be individuals who tend to want to do good in the world tend to want to help others. And so I think it is a big part of our culture to really recognize that as being people-centered that this is a big quality that’s important to us as individuals both in the workplace and outside of the workplace.
